I am excited that support for my campaign for State Treasurer is growing!
California Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon has endorsed me for State Treasurer, and he offered these generous words of support: "Fiona Ma will be a principled and innovative leader who will direct our state's investments to create jobs and ensure shared prosperity for everyone."
I also won the support of the California State Council of Laborers (LiUNA). It means so much to be endorsed by the men and women who work hard everyday to build our state.
The Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association are supporting me as well. It's an honor to be endorsed by the men and women of law enforcement who protect us every day.
On April 15, I joined thousands at the San Francisco Tax March, demanding that Donald Trump release his taxes. 74% of Americans think that Donald Trump should make his tax returns public, as has every other recent president.
It was a pleasure to be a co-MC with the talented Tami Bui at the CAUSE event in Los Angeles. CAUSE is a community based organization dedicated to advancing political and civic empowerment of the Asian Pacific American community through voter education and outreach as well as leadership development.
California has the highest rate of child poverty in American. Thank you Assemblymember Autumn Burke for sponsoring AB1520 and our anti-poverty champions in California. Join us to end child poverty!
As a proud member of the Advisory Board for Alliance for Girls, I am happy to support the Together We Rise summit. The Democratic Party State Convention is coming up May 19-21. As a member of the Board of Equalization, I have been invited to address the convention delegates on the floor.
I hope to see many of you there!
